Drew Hallett is an associate attorney working primarily in the areas of complex business, trust and entertainment litigation, representing clients in contractual, intellectual property, and trust administration matters. He also provides counsel and strategic advice to clients seeking to register, protect, and enforce their copyright and trademark rights and for those seeking to negotiate the best terms for agreements in the domains of film, television, stage production, music, and sports.
Drew earned his Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, where he was honored for his writing and legal research skills in the areas of intellectual property, entertainment and sports law. He received a Bachelor of Business Administration and graduated with high distinction from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan. He also received a second Bachelor’s degree, a Bachelor of Arts for Communications Studies from Michigan. By having degrees in both business and communication, Drew is better equipped to understand the rapid and fluid changes in the digital and media landscape in the context of business, intellectual property, and entertainment. Drew also was awarded a judicial extern with the Superior Court of California, County of Los Angeles in addition to working at 20th Century Fox and Big Ten Network which gives him further insight into navigating within the legal world and the entertainment industry.
When Drew is not in the office or at the courthouse, he spends his time rooting for his Wolverines on the gridiron and hardwood, playing basketball, and enjoying his family and friends.
